Wild Lantana
- Family: Verbenaceae
- Form: Upright, woody shrub, reaching 5 ft.
- Leaves: Simple, opposite, crenate, aromatic
- Stem/Bark: Brown
- Flower: Whitish with yellow throat, borne in clusters
- Fruit: Drupe, magenta, in clusters
- Comments: A related native species, Lantana depressa, is also excellent for the landscape, but is lower growing with yellow flowers
