- Form: Evergreen shrub, reaching 3-6 ft.
- Leaves: Simple, opposite, crenate, oblong-ovate, rugose, aromatic
- Stem/Bark: Pubescent stems becoming woody with age
- Flower: Yellow, in bracteate heads
- Fruit: Drupe, pink-purple, clustered
- Comments: Endemic to Florida , often confused with the non-native FLEPPC Category I Lantana camara due to hybridization.
