  • Stem/Bark: Attractive, exfoliating but smooth
  • Flower: White, pink, red, or purple, occuring in terminal and axillary panicles, crinkled petals
  • Fruit: Capsule, brown globose, persistant
  • Comments: Dwarf selections are available offering a range of flower colors
