Form: Upright, woody shrub, reaching 5 ft.
Leaves: Simple, opposite, crenate, aromatic
Stem/Bark: Brown
Flower: Whitish with yellow throat, borne in clusters
Fruit: Drupe, magenta, in clusters
Comments: A related native species, Lantana depressa, is also excellent for the landscape, but is lower growing with yellow flowers.
