Stem/Bark: Spiney, evident lenticels
Flower: Yellow, fragrant, globose heads
Fruit: Legume, green turning black, often in clusters
Comments: Sweet Acacia makes an outstanding specimen tree. A related species, Acacia choriophylla, is equally spectacular, with larger leaflets and no spines.
