Leaves: Simple, opposite, obovate, leathery and thick with noticeable mid-vein
Stem/Bark: Smooth gray, aerial roots
Flower: Pinkish-white, solitary
Fruit: Spherical with many seeds
Comments: There is some discussion as to whether Clusia rosea is truly native to Florida
