As if the battle to have corporate America conform to rules, mores, and social standards isn't difficult enough; now we see the seemingly effortless ease with which the biotechnical giants sail through the superfluous maze of red tape by influencing legislation to their advantage.  The stringent standards put into place by the EPA with the intent to protect the innocent masses, have become a pivotal point of pay-off see-saw.  The wheel who squeaks the loudest is getting the most oil, much to the chagrin of the very individuals designed to enforce these laws, which they bend for seemingly self-amusement.  In effect we are witnessing a bio-technical monopoly and nothing will change until we, the protected, rise up in unison to object to this petro-chemical giant's grasp of control.
