"The agriculture industry has been meeting these needs successfully through its perennial crops management  programs through the years.   Agriculture is the domain of need that must be consistently satisfied so Floridians feel secure, like there is a future worth staying and working for.  The citrus industry has been the premier cash crop industry boosting the confidence of our state citizens for decades.  Florida is identified internationally by citrus!   Unfortunately, our state's more tropical ridgeland areas are not blessed with the most fertile soils.  To secure the confidence of our citizens and an important part of Florida's identity, it is essential that we maintain the annual citrus crop yields.   We can only do this by boosting our natively nutrient-poor soils with the best of fertilizers and keep Florida citrus coming.  The people of our state need citrus.   It is needed to keep our state's image alive and unique in the eyes of thousands of tourists that support us annually by their visits."
